It was my first time buying prescription eyeglasses anywhere except an optometrist’s office. It was a tiny bit uncomfortable (was I putting the correct information into the correct fields? Were my measurements correct? Do I need medium size frames or large? How are they going to look when I actually try them on in person?). When they arrived, I anxiously took them out of the nice little box and bag/cleaning cloth. They looked great. But the true test was going to be how they looked and fit. Of course, I had done the thing where you upload your photo and “tried on” several pairs virtually, but this was three-dimensional physical space. I put them on. They felt good. I’m a guy with a big head (in more ways than one according to my wife) and they fit well. I looked in the mirror, and they looked great. I don’t know that they would have fit any better in an optometrist’s office, and I wouldn’t have had near the selection of frames that I had on EyeBuyDirect, not to mention they would have cost three times more in an optometrist’s office. Now that I have gone through the process, I’m sure I’ll be getting more. Especially at those great prices.
